About Us: Ken Kurlychek
Ken Kurlychek earned an MLS from the University of Maryland's
College of Library and Information Sciences in 1975. Specializing
in media services gave Ken the opportunity to develop skills in
evaluating non-print media, online database searching, library
automation, database development, project management, and software
evaluation. Ken recognized the great potential of the World Wide
Web in 1994 and began acquiring the skills needed to develop quality
Web sites. He became the first full-time Web site developer on
the campus of Gallaudet University.
Ken's other passion, aside from information architecture, is sailing his Morgan 38-4, Mary T, on the Chesapeake Bay. Ken's previous boat was an International Folkboat for which he maintained a small Web site that helped answer questions about the class for other owners. Although he no longer maintains the site, it remains available under the ClickBert domain.
Navigation, whether on the water or the Web, is a constant source of fascination for Ken.
