Dingwall ~ Cape Breton, Nova Scotia

Dingwall is on the Atlantic side of the upper part of Cape Breton Island--very near the top. There's not much of a town there but there is lovely scenery and some very neat homes.

Looking west from the ocean beach there is a large saltwater pond used for aquaculture. Dingwall is surrounded by the Cape Breton highlands.

This is the narrow entrance from Aspy Bay into Dingwall harbour. We had some kids snorkling there as well when we approached, making our navigation even trickier.
