Give a woman a fish and she eats for a day. Give her two and she's totally at a loss as to what to do with them. Karen and Phil ponder what to do with the two cod given to them by a friendly fisherman in Francois.

Craig, the generous, friendly fisherman, was also kind enough to give a filleting demonstration.

This small lake is the local swimming hole. It was a little too chilly the day we were there.

Francois was preparing for its homecoming celebration called, "Francois Days." This ocurrs during the third week of August every year.

We marveled at the rock formations that lined the shoreline. Somewhat different than what we see in the Chesapeake Bay, eh?

Although a very tiny town, the citizens of Francois do a great job of maintaining the hiking trails above town. Here Ken trudges up a very long ramp.
