The title of this float was, "The Simpsons go Newfie." We're not sure what this group represented but their pride is undeniable.
We heard that around 2,000 people returned to their home town for the 2009 celebration. They came from all over the US and Canada. Everyone loves a parade.
There was a music festival after the parade. Although no one was dancing when this was taken, the space was later filled up with celebrants of every age.
